Linda, Neighbourhood Talk

This is digital painting I did of Linda from Candycottonchu’s Neighbourhood Talk about two sisters navigating their life during the 70s and onwards. Linda is an intelligent career-focused woman, so I thought a more comic style could work. I also thought Linda really suited that style too. I love her red hair so I wanted that to stand out, so I limited the colour palette. I also decided to black out her eyes because she’s a character who is difficult to read, which is probably one of the most attractive aspects of her.

Neighbourhood Talk is definitely a must read. If Candy lets me, I’d like to do her sister Mae too at some point. XD
